women' healthIt is recommended that all women aged 18 and over attend their GP every 2 years for a Women’s Health Check.
Our medical team have had a wide range of experiences in women’s health issues, including pregnancy, pap smears, annual breast checks and management of menopause, including hormone replacement therapy.

Pregnancy

Our doctors are able to provide help and support for all sorts of pregnancy issues, including contraception, pre-pregnancy health checks, as well as pregnancy care and family planning advice.

Pap smear

Pap tests are essential for all women aged 18 through to 70 who have ever been sexually active in their life, even if they are no longer sexually active. Our female doctors are available for regular pap tests which involve taking a small sample of cells from the cervix to be tested for cell changes, it is a quick and simple process and can allow for the detection of cell changes and treatment.

Breast checks

Regular breast checks are important in early prevention of potential breast cancer. If you’re over 40 or at a high risk for the disease, you should have an annual mammogram and physical exam by a doctor. Our female doctors are available for breast examination and advice on how to lower your risk of getting breast cancer.

Management of menopause

If you have concerns about symptoms and treatments related to menopause, it is important for you to talk to your doctor about treatment options and the possible risks and benefits so you are able to choose what the best treatment is for you.
